2026-04-01

Pre-registration is now open for the 35th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition.

The exhibition will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from April 7th to 10th.

To date, the event has attracted 875 brand exhibitors from 31 countries and regions, including the US, Germany, Italy, and the UK.

Among them are 680 domestic exhibitors and 195 international exhibitors.

The exhibition is expected to welcome over 50,000 visitors from more than 130 countries and regions, covering sectors such as photovoltaics, construction, automotive, information display, and home appliances.

The event will focus on three key areas: intelligence, green development, and high-end manufacturing.

It will also showcase the latest achievements across the supply chain.

Highlights

  • Smart factories: Centralised display of full-process digital solutions for glass production, covering key technologies like intelligent furnace control, logistics systems, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) quality inspection.
  • Green and low-carbon technologies: Focus on innovations like low-energy melting technologies, carbon capture applications, and full-electric furnaces, aiding the industry's progress toward ‘dual-carbon’ goals.
  • Advanced functional glass products: Presentation of high-value-added new products such as electrochromic glass, building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) glass, and antibacterial glass.
  • Cross-industry integrated applications: Display of integrated glass solutions in construction, automotive, information display, medical, and other fields.

Exhibitors

The event will highlight a range of technologies and products from exhibitors.

International exhibitors include Glaston, Grenzebach, Air Products, Sorg, Horn, Heye, RHI Magnesita, and Zippe.

Meanwhile, domestic enterprises include the Triumph Group, CSG, Jinjing Group, Yaohua Pilkington Glass Group, Kibing, Taiwan Glass Group, and AGC.

Halls

The exhibition will take place across seven halls, spanning approximately 90,000 m2, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

Hall N1 is the international area housing mainstream global glass industry brands, including German and Italian pavilions.

Hall N2 is the glass production area gathering leading domestic glass manufacturers, and Hall N3 is for tempering furnace and refractory materials.

Halls N4, N5, and W5 are the deep processing equipment areas for cutting, edging, laminating, insulating glass units, and intelligent inspection.

Finally, Hall W4 is the daily-use glass, decorative glass, and hardware accessories area.

Anniversary

In 2026, the exhibition will celebrate its 40th anniversary.

Over four decades, China Glass has connected China with the global glass industry, driving technological iteration, industrial upgrading, and international co-operation.

The 35th China Glass Exhibition will serve as a prelude to the 40th anniversary celebrations.
